## What Helvex is (and is not)

- **Is:** A KYC-gated RFQ desk / atomic settlement product on Canton Network (a Dream Capital product).
- **Is not:** A public AMM, a public CLOB, or unrelated companies that also use the word “Helvex.”
- **Assets:** CC, CBTC (Bitcoin on Canton / BitSafe), USDCx (USDC on Canton / Circle).
- **App fee today:** 0 bps. Canton network traffic still burns a small amount of CC.

## Who can trade

KYC-verified Helvex accounts only (government ID + live selfie). Access is geo-restricted and OFAC-screened. One account cannot fill its own RFQ.

## Core product model

1. **Loop wallet** — self-custody browser wallet for deposit and withdraw.
2. **Trading ID** — Helvex Canton party used for post / lock / fill / settle.
3. **Maker** — posts an RFQ (sell amount + minimum receive); sell asset is locked in escrow.
4. **Solver** — fills a locked RFQ from a different account.
5. **Settlement** — both legs move in one atomic Canton transaction, or neither does.
6. **Lock vs settle** — lock is its own ledger step; atomic settlement applies to the swap legs after a fill.
